Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, journalism, advertising, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implements social media strategies to engage residents.

• Develops monthly social media content calendars.
• Updates content for websites, social media, and other channels.
• Assists with content development for the Government Access Channel, including graphics and video projects.
• Implements marketing and advertising plans for assigned departments.
• Seeks out relevant stories to promote Temple’s image.
• Collaborates with departments to ensure content is relevant and well-designed.
• Keeps up with industry trends by attending trainings and webinars.
• Participates in professional organizations to network with others.
• Assists Marketing Manager with various projects and support.
• Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
