Job summary

The City of Northglenn is seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking City Manager to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the organization. You will work closely with the Mayor and City Council to advance community priorities, empower staff, and ensure high-quality services for residents.

Qualifications

At least 10 years of progressively responsible leadership in local government.
At least five years supervising professional-level staff.
Strong financial acumen with municipal budgeting and long-range planning; experience in economic development is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership for the City organization and partner with the Mayor and City Council.
Oversee departments, develop and administer the annual budget, safeguard financial health, and ensure responsible governance.
Foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability across the organization, aligning executive leadership around shared priorities.
Represent the City of Northglenn with professionalism in the community and regional forums.
