Job summary

Zipcar is seeking a Fleet Operations Associate in Washington, DC to operate across the city, ensuring cars are clean, maintained, and member-ready. You may change tires, refuel, clean, or coordinate tow/repair as needed, traveling by foot, bike, transit, or Zipcar.

You will serve as the frontline for member satisfaction, supporting brand visibility and daily fleet readiness. The role requires outdoor work, flexible hours, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Excellent communication with operations team to ensure vehicle status updates are provided.
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors (weather and other conditions vary).
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record (per company standards).
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs.).
