Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a hub operations supervisor to oversee daily hub activities, including city delivery dispatchers and hub delivery specialists. You will oversee routes, ensure timely invoicing to spoke stores, investigate discrepancies, and manage hub expenses to maximize profitability.

Fluency in English is required, with Spanish language skills highly desired. You will coordinate with store managers for coverage, schedule maintenance, and contribute to performance evaluations while

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hub operations, supervising city delivery dispatchers, hub delivery specialists, and other team members.
• Investigate shipping and inventory discrepancies related to hub.
• Manage expenses related to hub operations to maximize profitability.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained and routes are optimized while costs are minimized.
• Maintain monthly work schedules and ensure timekeeping complies with policy.
• Monitor dispatcher and delivery routes, communicating delays to stores on the route.
• Support store managers to cover routes in absence of regular supervisors.
• Provide performance input for evaluations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To manage and oversee all aspects of daily hub operations,includingsupervisingcitydeliverydispatcher, hub delivery specialists and any other team members assigned to hub.

Investigateallshippingandinventorydiscrepanciesrelatedtohub-makesuretheyarecorrectedina timely manner.

Worktomanageandminimizeshrinkandpayrollrelatedtohub operation.

Responsibleforoversightofallhubdeliveryroutes underhisor herresponsibility.Makesureall routes are followed and efficiency is maximized, while costs are minimized.

Manageallexpensesrelatedtohubsideofbusinesstomaximizeprofitabilityforhubandspoke stores.

Maintainanorganized,cleancitydeliveryareadividedintoareas/binsforeachspoke store.

Maintain monthly work schedule for all team members under his/her supervision, including but not limitedtocitydeliverydispatcherandhubdeliveryspecialists.Ensureallteam membersareclocking in and out according to company policy.

Ensurecitydeliverydispatcherismonitoringdeliveryspecialist’srouteschedule,while communicating any delays to stores remaining on the route.

Work withstoremanagertoensurerouteiscoveredinabsenceofregularcitydeliverysupervisor and/or city delivery specialists.

Work with store manager and hub delivery specialists to ensure vehicles are well maintained and quarterlyinspectionsarecompletedthoroughlyandaccurately.Ensuredailymileageisloggedinto asset management for all vehicles.

Provideinputtostoremanager withregardtocitydeliverydispatcheranddeliveryspecialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations.
