Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a city delivery coordinator to manage delivery routes, communicate with stores, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will maintain the delivery area, monitor the hub system, and work with store managers to cover routes during absences.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences, and a willingness to learn about automotive parts. Multilingual ability (Spanish) is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Desirable familiarity with automotive parts.
• Desirable ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Desirable fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores by phone or invoice and ensure parts are ready for delivery.
• Ensure order accuracy before delivery pickup.
• Maintain organized city delivery area with clear divisions.
• Monitor routes and hub system to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate recommendations to store manager.
• Ensure hub team members clock in/out per policy.
• Address undelivered parts and adjust billing as needed.
• Coordinate coverage of routes during absences with store manager.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained and inspections are completed.
• Log daily mileage for all vehicles.
• Provide feedback on delivery staff performance for evaluations.
