Job summary
O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a city route coordinator to oversee hub-to-spoke delivery scheduling and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment. The role requires familiarity with automotive parts, ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, and multilingual capability with Spanish highly desired.
Responsibilities include supervising delivery specialists, maintaining organized delivery hubs, and coordinating with store managers to handle absences and route coverage while monitoring routes
Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee city route schedule, functions, and delivery specialists for hub to spoke stores.
- Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
- Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice; ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
- Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to delivery.
- Maintain organized hub delivery area divided into areas for each spoke store.
- Monitor hub system and routes to improve efficiency, productivity, and reduce expenses; report recommendations to store manager.
- Ensure hub team clocks in/out per policy.
- Provide input on delivery performance for evaluations.
- Assist in covering routes in the absence of regular delivery personnel.
- Ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed; log daily mileage.
