Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to oversee city route schedules and hub-to-spoke deliveries in the Brockton area. You will coordinate orders, verify accuracy, and keep the hub area organized while ensuring timely deliveries by the spoke stores.

Preferred multilingual abilities (Spanish) and familiarity with automotive parts; driving a manual transmission may be required. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice; ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery on schedule.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist pickup.
• Maintain organized city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are on schedule and communicate delays to stores on route.
• Monitor hub system and routes to increase efficiency; suggest improvements to store manager.
• Ensure team members clock in/out according to policy.
• Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and adjust billing if needed.
• Work with store manager to cover routes in absence of regular hub staff.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained; daily mileage logged for asset management.
• Provide input on delivery staff performance for evaluations.

Compensation Pay Range

$15.00 - $20.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

To coordinate and oversee city route schedule, functions, and delivery specialists of "hub" store to "spoke" stores.

Essential Job Functions

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up order for delivery.
• Maintain organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and/or communicate any delays to stores remaining on route.
• Continually monitor hub system and routes for ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and/or reduce expenses. Communicate recommendations to store manager.
• Make sure all team members assigned to hub are clocking in and out according to company policy.
• Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and make any necessary billing adjustments.
• Work with store manager to ensure route is covered in the absence of regular city delivery specialist.
• Work with store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately. Ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles.
• Provide input to store manager with regard to delivery specialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations.
