Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring for a city delivery supervisor role in Alaska. You will serve as the contact for city delivery, coordinate orders, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining organized delivery areas and inputting vehicle mileage.

Ideal candidates value efficiency, have knowledge of automotive parts, and can drive a manual transmission. Spanish language skills are highly desired to support diverse store teams.

Qualifications

• Must quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills required.
• Familiarity with automotive parts preferred.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle would be a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice; ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up the order for delivery.
• Maintain organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are on schedule and communicate delays to stores on route.
• Monitor hub system and routes to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Provide recommendations to store manager.
• Ensure hub team members clock in/out per policy.
• Research undelivered parts and adjust billing as needed.
• Work with store manager to cover routes in the absence of the regular city delivery specialist.
• Coordinate with store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicle maintenance and inspections are completed thoroughly.
• Log daily mileage into asset management for all vehicles.
• Provide input regarding delivery specialists’ performance for evaluations.
