Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.
The City Clerk’s Office offers a wide range of services to the residents of Chandler and the surrounding communities. Election assistance and passport applications are just some of the services provided, along with a multitude of information and records regarding the City Code and City Council actions. The City Clerk’s Office preserves legal documents and is the source of information on City Council legislation and actions. The City Clerk’s Office conducts all municipal elections, assists the Mayor in administering the appointment of members to serve on various City boards and commissions, and provides services to the public including passport services, public records requests, and oversees Chandler's boards and commissions, and the Chandler Municipal Code and City Charter.
Our new team member will serve as an essential member of the City Clerk’s Office passport acceptance team, with passport services representing a primary responsibility for this position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. They will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while providing professional and courteous support to the public, elected officials, and City staff. This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
