Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to architect, deploy, and maintain its Citrix-based VDI and remote access environment across on‑premises and cloud. The role includes end-user support, security, and performance optimization in a regulated healthcare setting.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in IT infra engineering, 2+ years with Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops, and strong VMware/Azure experience with storage expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement or 4 years of Citrix infra experience.
• 3 years IT infra engineering experience.
• 2 years Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in enterprise environments.
• 2 years VMware infrastructure (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) with Azure workloads.
• Experience with enterprise storage (NetApp/Dell EMC/Pure).
• Familiar with MFA, SSO, conditional access, Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize Citrix infrastructure across on-premises and cloud.
• Configure and troubleshoot Citrix ADC/NetScaler Gateway.
• Collaborate with cloud teams for Azure-based Citrix workloads.
• Monitor performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Automate builds, patching, provisioning with PowerShell.
• Apply upgrades and security updates with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with storage/virtualization teams for performance tuning.
• Maintain documentation for builds and procedures.
• Serve as tier-3 escalation for Citrix/VMware/storage issues.
• Support upgrades, migrations, platform transitions.
• Participate in VDI modernization and cloud adoption projects.
• Assist with audits and vulnerability remediation.
• Evaluate and test new technologies.
