Job summary

Cutter Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain to lead as Pilot-in-Command of the CE680A on on-demand Part 91 and Part 135 missions. You will deliver a world-class, concierge-level experience to owners, clients, operators, and partners.

Responsibilities include flight planning, performance analysis, weather routing, and meticulous logs. The role requires FAA certification, current First-Class Medical, and strong customer service skills with the ability to mentor junior crew.

Qualifications

• 3,000+ hours total time; 1,500+ hours PIC.
• 250+ hours in a mid-size or larger jet (>20,000 lb MTOW) as PIC or SIC.
• Current FAA pilot certificate and current First-Class Medical.
• No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute flights including performance, weight and balance, weather, routing, and risk assessment.

• Train and mentor the SIC to ensure proficiency and adherence to standards.
• Adapt to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts with professionalism.

Your Mission

Lead every flight with precision, poise, and hospitality. As Captain, you will serve as Cutter Aviation's primary ambassador to owners, clients, operators, and partners while delivering a seamless, world-class experience.

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command of the CE680A in Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand operations.
• Deliver uncompromising, concierge-level service to clients and guests.
• Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company SOPs, qualifications, currency, and fitness for flight.
• Plan and execute flights including performance, weight and balance, weather, routing, and risk assessment.
• Conduct thorough preflight and postflight inspections; coordinate maintenance and ensure aircraft compliance.
• Complete accurate flight logs, reports, and irregularity documentation as required.
• Train and mentor the SIC to ensure proficiency and adherence to standards.
• Adapt to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts with composure and professionalism.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.

What You Bring

• Previous PIC jet type rating (required).
• 3,000+ hours total time and 1,500+ hours PIC.
• 250+ hours in a mid-size or larger jet (> 20,000 lb MTOW) as PIC or SIC.
• Current FAA-issued pilot certificate and current First-Class Medical.
• No accidents, incidents, or sanctions within the past five years.
• Strong knowledge of general aviation aircraft operations and service requirements for crews and passengers.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills with a professional appearance and manner.
• Proven ability to multitask, show initiative, build friendly rapport, and work collaboratively as a team member.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb; valid driver license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Part 135.293/297 qualification in a jet via FSI or SimuFlite.
• Experience in the Citation Latitude or comparable mid-size jet.
