Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is hiring a CISO Senior Manager to lead the DSS HQ security operation, including NOC, ISSO, and Security Engineering, within the CISO directorate.

The role coordinates DHS stakeholders and ensures alignment with mission and SLAs across IT, security, and AI-enabled services. You will oversee multi-domain programs, drive incident response, and manage staffing to meet surge demands while fostering continuous improvement and executive communications.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret w/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience or equivalency.
• ITILv4 Foundations with strong command of ITIL practices.
• Proficiency with SNOW.
• Experience managing teams delivering systems, network, and security operations for mission-critical environments.
• Strong customer facing experience at a senior level, including PMRs, requirements gathering, and expectation setting.
• Crisis or incident response experience and post-mortem reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive briefing skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams.
• Ability to travel locally within National Capital Region.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day management for all work under the CISO Task Order.
• Serve as primary DHS CISO Directorate contact overseeing Security Engineering, NOC, and ISSO teams.
• Manage IT and cybersecurity projects across systems engineering, networks, cloud, and security.
• Implement ITIL processes and align with DHS governance for secure operations.
• Develop staffing plans to ensure cleared personnel across required roles.
• Monitor DHS SLAs and implement improvements and corrective actions.
• Lead transitions for the task order to ensure continuity of secure services.
• Coordinate end-user security tools and controls across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Oversee POA&Ms remediation and vulnerability mitigation with HQ teams.
• Ensure backup, DR, and COOP planning and testing.
• Drive continuous improvement, metrics, and reporting for security and IT operations.
• Lead end-user training and documentation for security tools and policies.
• Ensure rapid incident response and escalation procedures.
