Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - SME to lead and advance cybersecurity operations across the organization.

You will oversee day-to-day activities of the Cyber Front Office and collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize resources and guide strategic decision-making. The role requires deep technical expertise in defensive cyber operations, DoD policy compliance, and strong executive briefing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cyber Security Engineering or IT-related discipline with 8+ years in cybersecurity; higher experience may substitute for degree.
• Requires TS/SCI with ability to obtain a Polygraph OR active TS/SCI CI Poly.
• Demonstrated leadership in roles such as functional manager or team lead for at least 10 years.
• Must have DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M IAT Level III
• Must have CSSP Manager or be able to obtain within 90 days of start date.
• Strong knowledge of DoD policies, audits, and ATO processes.
• Experience with SOC-CMM, C2M2, and related frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive briefs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure and systems.
• Oversee security of networks, data, and systems, respond to breaches, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Brief executive leadership and align cybersecurity resources with priorities.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance to maturity of processes and personnel in the Cyber Front Office.
• Deliver design, development, implementation, operations, and sustainment of cybersecurity services for NGA programs and enterprise.
• Conduct AoA, design studies, and author white papers on emerging trends.
