Job summary

DLA Piper seeks a Chief Information Security Officer to lead a mature, business‑aligned cyber risk program and oversee the Information Security Management System. The CISO will partner with executive teams to protect client and firm data while enabling responsible innovation.

The role requires executive presence, strategic risk oversight, and the ability to translate technical risk into business terms for decision‑makers across IT, privacy, procurement, and practice leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Law, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in MBA, Cybersecurity, or related area.
• 15+ years in information security leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute enterprise information security strategy aligning with firm goals.
• Lead Information Security Management System and governance framework.
• Coordinate incident response, containment, investigation, and remediation.
• Advise leadership on cyber risk with clear business implications.
• Oversee third‑party security risk management with risk owners.
