Qualifications

Must have at minimum a CISCO certification or be willing to obtain certification within first 6 months of employment.
3 years of industry experience in LAN/WAN/VoIP utilizing CISCO routers and switches
Minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Networking or related field

Responsibilities

Teaches CISCO Networking courses at various times and locations to meet institutional needs.
Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and practical application.
Develops and uses a syllabus for each course or lab in accordance with guidelines.
Evaluates students and communicates progress in a timely manner.
Responsible for recruiting and advising students in their area.
Manages classrooms and labs to meet state requirements and safety standards.
Supports student job placement and coordinates with certification agencies.
