Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a computer related field from a national or regionally accredited college.
• Certification in Cisco.
• At least two years of in-field work or computer-related instructional experience in the past five years.
• Experience with network installation/configuration/administration using Cisco products, PC installation and maintenance, and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• CCNA approved instructor or working toward approval.

Responsibilities

• Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives.
• Evaluates student progress toward goals and objectives.
• Requests and maintains supplies and equipment and prepares budget requests.
• Develops teaching methods and maintains documentation.
• Maintains program certification requirements.
• Meets with students, staff and educators to discuss instructional programs.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
• Ensures safety and security in training areas.
• Attends in-service trainings and conferences.
