Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Network Engineer (Telecom) to design, implement, and maintain Cisco collaboration solutions across the enterprise, including voice, video, messaging, and conferencing technologies.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, monitor performance, and ensure secure, scalable operations while collaborating with IT teams and vendors. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in IT, networking or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in voice/telecom support with Cisco collaboration in enterprise.
• Deep knowledge of CUCM, Unity, UCCX, Webex, CMS and Expressway.
• Strong IP networking, SIP, H.323, VoIP, QoS understanding.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Design Cisco collaboration solutions (CUCM, Unity, UCCX, Webex, CMS, Expressway) and some Teams Calling.
• Implement, configure, test, and deploy collaboration systems per best practices.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for voice, video, messaging, and conferencing.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and scalability of collaboration infrastructure.
• Maintain security measures for collaboration environments.
• Create documentation and runbooks; mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams; stay current with updates.
• Suggest continuous improvement initiatives.
