Job summary

GDH is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to provide expert guidance on Cisco networking products and 5G mobile core networks in a large enterprise setting. The role centers on supporting design, testing, deployment, and operations to ensure optimal performance, resiliency, and scalability in Seattle office.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, develop test plans, document results, and assist with lab-to-prod migrations, while participating in after-hours deployments and incident response as

Qualifications

• Experience supporting mobile core networks and packet core technologies.
• Strong knowledge of 5G concepts including call flows and architecture.
• Proven ability to design, test, validate, and deploy network solutions.
• Able to document test results and operational reports clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for network design, upgrades, and architecture improvements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for network validation.
• Document test results and performance/fault analysis reports.
• Support lab environment design, upgrades, and infrastructure testing.
• Create migration guides and assist with transitioning from lab to production.
• Assist with incident response during escalations.
• Review proposed changes for resiliency, scalability, and service quality.
• Support major deployments and troubleshoot hardware, software, or config issues.
• Share knowledge through documentation and training sessions.
• Participate in service reviews, risk assessments, and future network planning.
