Job summary

Jobgether partner seeks a senior Core Network Engineer in the United States to design, deploy, and operate 4G LTE EPC and 5G SA cores. You will translate architectures into detailed plans, configure interfaces (S1-AP, NAS, GTP, PFCP), and ensure 3GPP compliance while maintaining security and reliability.

You will work with Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware, and major cloud platforms, building automated tooling with Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Bash.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on telecommunications experience in engineering, integration, configuration, and testing of 3GPP wireless core networks.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale 4G LTE EPC and/or 5G Standalone Core deployments.
• Experience deploying CNF/VNF network functions on Kubernetes/OpenShift/OpenStack/VMware.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, integrate, test, and deploy 4G LTE EPC and 5G Standalone Core network elements (MME, SGW, AMF, UPF, SMF, SEPP).
• Translate architectures into detailed engineering plans, configurations, and deployment activities.
• Develop automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Bash to improve deployment efficiency.
