Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, Colorado, is hiring a Circulating Nurse (PRN, Days) to support surgical teams in the operative phase. The RN will monitor patients, communicate with surgeons and anesthesia, and ensure equipment readiness for safe procedures.

Required: Colorado RN license, BLS upon hire, ACLS and PALS within 6 months. Prefer 1 year OR experience. Competitive pay with shift differentials and flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed in Colorado as a Registered Nurse (temporary permit accepted if awaiting reciprocity).
• Current BLS required at hire and throughout employment.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, treatment, counseling, and health education in the operative phase.
• Monitor patient status and respond to complications with rapid emergency actions.
• Ensure the surgical team has supplies, equipment, and sterile processes for safe procedures.
• Communicate with surgeon, anesthesiologist, and team to maintain homeostasis.
• Perform a variety of tasks and duties as assigned.
