Job summary

The City of New York seeks a Circular Economy Program Manager within the Office of Energy and Resource Recovery Programs to lead energy and resource recovery initiatives across DEP facilities. Qualifications

• : Four-year degree and four years of energy generation or conservation experience with one year in admin/management.
• : Associate degree with six years of experience including one year in admin/management.
• : High school diploma with eight years of related energy experience including one year in administration/management.
• : Equivalency pathway with approved credits and administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DEP bureaus, other City agencies, and contractors to manage energy projects.
• Translate concepts to execution by developing partnerships, contracts, and revenue-sharing models.
• Support procurement, design, and policy-setting to improve energy/resource efficiency and identify training opportunities.
• Identify energy conservation opportunities in wastewater systems, building systems, and equipment; assist with scope, cost estimates, and MV measurements.
• Develop and maintain project plans; monitor milestones and progress across initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and datasets for decision-making and compliance.
