Position: Circuit Provisioning Technician
Location: Onsite at Ft. Gregg-Adams, VA
Clearance: Active Secret (preferred) / Eligible to obtain
The TSR Team is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and approving all aspects of circuit provisioning, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks in a demanding, fast-paced environment. The candidate will be required to participate in a team environment.
Required Tasks
- Register and obtain appropriate role assignments in DISA StoreFront, TIBI provisioning, inventory, billing tools, and TCOSS (or latest authorized tools) to manage communication products and services.
- Be trained and qualified to operate automated systems used for managing the lifecycle of communication products and services (e.g., DISA Storefront, TIBI, TCOSS, GSA TBI, Vendor Portals).
- Create and manage user accounts for agency staff in vendor portals and serve as the coordinator for training on these portals.
- Comply with SOPs including problem resolution, escalation, and notification procedures established via contracts, providers, MOA, SLAs, ISSA, and ISAs for lifecycle management.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to technical discussions, and provide summary reports.
- Coordinate with DISA, GSA, vendors, host installations, COR, and end users to resolve management, acquisition, or technical issues related to communication products and services, including NIPRNET Connection Approval process, and report for government approval.
- Identify problem areas, facilitate solutions, and request process improvements with DeCA, DISA, DoD, or federal agencies.
- Maintain all documentation (paper and electronic) per DoD and DeCA records management guidelines and SOPs, posting documents in SharePoint.
- Discontinue unnecessary services immediately when missions change, bases close, or services are no longer required, as directed by the government.
Requirements
- Ability to process a Circuit Order from initial concept to working product.
- Team player with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated problem solver.
- Experience with Storefront, TCOSS, and working with vendors such as DISA, ATT, and LEC.
- Experience coordinating circuit turn-up and disconnects.
- 2-4 years' experience in circuit provisioning roles, with in-depth familiarity with long-haul carriers like Verizon and AT&T, and government circuit provisioning policies and procedures.
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card, requiring a NACI investigation. DoD Secret clearance is preferable.
- Location: Fort Gregg-Adams, with authorized telework from the local area.
