The Ash Group is seeking a Circuit Designer for a 12-month remote contract in the United States. The role focuses on TIRKS-based circuit design for TDM networks, connecting switch/DACS to Ribbon equipment, and creating robust DS0/T1 paths.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years with TDM Voice, TIRKS and TDM circuit design.
• Basic MS Office Suite skills required.
• Telecom industry experience is required.
• Understanding of VoIP is preferred.
• Experience with Ribbon equipment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Research options in TIRKS and review network diagrams of TDM, Transport, and CSP networks.
• Determine connection from switch/DACS to Ribbon equipment or via TDM transport to neighboring office.
• Design new T1s where needed and mirror designs on the other end when required.
• Provide DS0 path design onto and off various T1s.
• Identify impact on carrier circuits and whether old T1/DS3/OC lines can be disconnected.
• Notate the design on a spreadsheet and create WMS tickets for design work.

Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Circuit Designer (24671) for our client, a leading telecommunications provider delivering high-speed fiber internet. This is a 12-month contract position working remotely (must be located in the US). We are offering a pay rate up to $41/hr W2 based on skill set.

• Compensation: Up to $41/hr W2 based on skill set

• Duration: 12-month contract
• Location: Remote (Must be located in the US)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Researching options in TIRKS, utilizing network diagrams of the TDM, Transport, and CSP networks
• Determining if we can connect from the switch or DACS in the office to Ribbon equipment in that office or if it needs to ride our TDM transport to a neighboring office before connecting to a Ribbon device
• Design new T1s where needed
• Determining a similar design on the other end with new T1s where needed
• Provide the design for the DS0 onto and off the various T1s through the path
• Identify the impact on the carrier circuits currently supporting these TDM circuits (if the T1, DS3, OC3, OC12, OC48 carrier can now be disconnected)
• Notating the design on a spreadsheet
• Creating a WMS ticket(s) to send to the team that creates the design(s) in TIRKS

What We’re Looking For

• Must have 2 years (minimum) working with: TDM Voice, TIRKS and TDM circuit design
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills are needed
• Telecom industry experience is required
• Understanding of VoIP is preferred
• Experience with “Ribbon” equipment is a plus
