Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking a Circuit Board Tester in San Marcos, CA to assemble and perform functional testing on circuit board assemblies. Under supervision, you will work from assembly drawings and wiring diagrams to ensure quality and reliability in a manufacturing setting.

The role involves light mechanical assembly, use of hand tools, and performing pass/fail tests with documentation. AWS schedule features four 10-hour days, with early starts as needed.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or repair of electro-mechanical devices, instruments, or units preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to use computer system, perform data input. Basic knowledge of electrical theory preferred.
• Able to use a large variety of small hand tools, including but not limited to screwdrivers, wrenches and soldering irons.
• Able to use basic electrical measuring tools such as multimeters, insulation resistance meters, decade boxes and test fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and perform functional testing on circuit board assemblies.
• Follow assembly documentation, wiring diagrams and work instructions with minimal supervision.
• Conduct pass/fail tests using manual and automated test equipment and document results.
• Communicate with Electronic Technicians and Circuit Board Lead to improve reliability and quality of assembled items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, using PPE as required.
