Job summary

Fluid Components International in San Marcos, CA is seeking a Circuit Board Tester to assemble and perform functional testing on circuit board assemblies under the supervision of the Circuit Board Lead.

You will perform light mechanical assembly and pass/fail tests using manual and automated test equipment, documenting results and following wiring diagrams and work instructions. Strong collaboration with Electronic Technicians and management is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly or repair experience required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to use a computer system for data input and read electrical drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, and soldering irons.
• Familiarity with electrical measuring tools such as multimeters and insulation testers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and perform functional testing on circuit board assemblies.
• Run pass/fail tests using manual and automated equipment and document results.
• Move work orders in the company system accurately.
• Follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions with minimal supervision.
• Communicate clearly with Electronic Technicians, Circuit Board Lead, and management.
