Responsibilities

• Interview and select Circle Leaders and Allies; manage staff/volunteers.
• Lead community outreach on poverty awareness; collaborate with Director of Mission Advancement.
• Oversee budget and curriculum planning; coordinate trainings and calendar.
• Maintain data reporting and registrations; ensure reporting to CUSA and Lead Organization.
• Liaise between CUSA and Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi; support Circles Coach.

The Circles Program Coordinator oversees the Circles chapter, its staff, and all its volunteers, ensuring compliance with the lead organization’s policies/procedures. They build community support around the Circles model of poverty reduction, have experience working with diverse socio-economic communities, a deep knowledge of poverty, skills in community organizing/volunteer management, and an awareness of the social service resources in the community.Ministerial Character:The Bishop is the visible principle and foundation of unity in the particular Church (The Diocese) entrusted to him. In a unique and visible way, he makes Christ's mission present and enduring as Shepherd of the Christian Community. In order to fulfill his mission, the Bishop employs suitable, chosen collaborators (clerics, religious, or lay people). He shares with them the apostolic mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.Each position employed in the Diocese of Corpus Christi helps to extend the ministry of the Bishop in particular ways as outlined in the job duties and responsibilities.
