Job summary

The Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CIPP Superintendent to supervise crews across pipe rehabilitation projects, diagnose equipment issues with Fleet support, and coordinate installation plans. The role requires hands-on leadership in fast-paced environments and strict adherence to safety policies.

Candidates should have a strong mechanical background, knowledge of sanitary waste/storm water systems, and a CDL with endorsements.

Qualifications

• High mechanical aptitude and strong supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of sanitary waste and storm water systems preferred.
• Electrical background and traffic plan knowledge highly desired.
• Must possess or be eligible for a commercial driver’s license with endorsements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with subcontractors, field inspectors, project managers, and crew members.
• Highly organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% overnight including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers assigned to his/her crew on pipe rehabilitation projects.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures with Fleet Director support.
• Assist Project Manager in developing an installation plan.
• Ensure all work complies with safety policies and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site each day.
• Communicate with project management and operations teams.
• Ensure field activities follow written work instructions.
• Report time and production for crew and expediting workflow.
• Account for crew hours to minimize labor costs.
