Job summary

Golden State Foods is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in Conyers, GA for 3rd shift (10:00 PM- 6:00 AM). The role tests products, performs process checks, and upholds food safety and quality across the facility. Full-time position with a salary range of $45K-$68K.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field, with 1–3 years QA experience and knowledge of HACCP/GMPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in QA or food safety.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and audits on raw, in-process, and finished products.
• Record accurate documentation of test results and audits.
• Provide feedback to production teams on quality and safety concerns.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
• Train new team members on QA procedures.
• Support customer, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Assist continuous improvement efforts in QA.
