Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Coordinator IV – CIP Compliance at the District Service Center to support the Capital Improvement Program during design, preconstruction, construction and closeout of bond projects. This role coordinates with architects, engineers, consultants and internal departments, maintains TDGs, and oversees submittals, RFIs, meetings, and reports.

The position requires 4–6 years in construction project management related to K-12 facilities, with strong data analysis and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience with construction, construction project management, architecture, or engineering on K-12 facilities or a closely related industry.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects in a public-school setting preferred.
• Knowledge of data information systems and ability to prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the technical activities of the Capital Improvement Program during design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout of Bond Projects.
• Serve as liaison between architects, engineers, consultants, and internal departments for construction projects.
• Maintain District Technical Guidelines (TDGs) to reflect latest specifications.
• Support the overtime process for Bond projects.
• Coordinate construction schedules and documentation, including submittal review, RFIs, meeting agendas/minutes, pay applications, reporting, closeout and warranty documentation.
• Provide performance and objective reports on project progress.
• Attend project development and construction meetings and document content.
• Verify compliance of final close-out procedures for general contractors, engineers, and job order contractors.
