Job summary

Studio C, parent company of Celebration Cinema, is seeking a talented General Manager to lead the Celebration Cinema Carousel team. You will oversee day-to-day operations and deliver an outstanding movie-going and employment experience.

This full-time role requires a strong culture-builder who can coach staff, maintain service standards, and manage budgets while ensuring guest safety and legal compliance. Weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 Years of Leadership/Management experience required.
• Minimum 1 year recruiting (hiring and/or onboarding) experience required.
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience working in a movie theater and/or restaurant setting preferred.
• Certifications for Food Safety and alcohol management program preferred but not mandatory.
• Able to work within deadlines and under pressure.
• Strong organization, communication and coaching skills.
• Mobility required during the entire shift - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must Love Movies!

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a healthy, positive employment culture emphasizing trust, empathy, courage, service and playfulness.
• Engage and provide others with Celebrated Service at the highest level.
• Build promoters of the Studio C Employment Experience through coaching, appreciation and learning.
• Recruit, select, onboard, train, and develop the team; handle terminations when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal employment laws.
• Oversee daily operations, maintaining a safe, secure building and property.
• Manage food and beverage costs and safety; ensure alcohol sale compliance.
• Foster relationships with team and community through transparency and inclusion.
• Achieve short and long-term metrics while operating within fiscal and operational standards.
• Handle daily accounting tasks related to income, payroll, inventory, and finance.
