Job summary

SIFF operates cinemas in Seattle, and this On-Call Cinema Floor Staff role is onsite at SIFF Cinemas in Seattle. You will provide courteous customer service, sell tickets and concessions, and help manage lines and safety during screenings.

The position requires cash handling, flexible nights/weekends/holidays, and a current WA Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one. SIFF offers a dynamic, community-focused workplace with opportunities to support arts education and film discovery.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of cash handling and customer service experience.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to obtain WA Food Handler's Card and Class 12 Mixologist Permit.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrated commitment to racial equity.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and create positive cinema experiences for SIFF customers.
• Sell ticketing and concessions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Manage entry and guide customers, assist with line management.
• Complete shift duties including opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of concessions, restrooms, lobby and theatres; ensure auditorium safety.
