Job Details

Position: General Laborer - Second Shift

Company: Stock Manufacturing & Design

Location: Cleves, Cincinnati area

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00am-3:00pm

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the General Laborer will set up and operate machinery such as brake presses, drills, and cut-off saws, ensuring high-quality workmanship to meet productivity goals.

Responsibilities

1. Receive instructions, work orders, and prints for each job.
2. Read and understand blueprints and welding specifications.
3. Handle, measure, clean, and inspect materials and workpieces.
4. Set machine stops, change dies, and adjust components.
5. Operate press machines according to specifications.
6. Paint as instructed when necessary.
7. Plan operation sequences to achieve desired results.

Candidate Requirements

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
2. Ability to use hand tools preferred.
3. Forklift experience preferred.
4. Ability to read and interpret routers, blueprints, drawings, and sketches preferred.
