Job summary

Phillips Edison & Company is seeking a Manager to join our Investments team in Cincinnati, overseeing underwriting models and presenting analyses. You will manage analysts, delegate work, and coordinate cross‑functional efforts with Acquisitions, Investment Management, and Finance to support property acquisitions and financial modeling.

The role requires 3–5+ years in CRE investment analysis, advanced Excel, and Argus Enterprise experience, with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of direct experience in commercial real estate investment analysis.
• Experience managing a small team and/or stepping into a manager role.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with Argus Enterprise (or similar CRE financial modeling software).
• Advanced, professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and present acquisition underwriting models (Argus Enterprise and Excel) through every phase of an acquisition process: pre‑diligence, post‑Investment Committee iterations, post‑diligence sign‑off, and transaction closing.
• Manage two or more analysts, providing project guidance and day‑to‑day direction.
• Assign underwriting work and priorities to the analyst pool, ensuring timely throughput.
• Collaborate with Acquisitions, Transactions, Investment Management, Finance, Asset Management, Leasing, and Property Management to guide acquisitions and financial models from analysis to onboarding.
• Collaborate with Investment Management and Acquisitions to evaluate assets for joint venture and balance sheet strategies.
• Enhance and build new templates and processes.
• Approach every financial piece with a strategic mindset aligned to investor goals.
