Job summary

Phillips Edison & Company in Cincinnati, OH is offering a Financial Analyst Intern role. The intern will support monthly/quarterly reporting, NOI and capital forecasting, and budgeting processes while collaborating with Finance, Accounting and Operations teams in person at our Cincinnati office.

The candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial and KPI reporting, data integration between MRI and AE systems, and preparation for Board presentations, with emphasis on strong Excel modeling

Qualifications

Undergraduate student enrolled in Finance with a 3.0+ GPA.
Advanced MS Excel modeling skills required.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with direction and as part of a team.
Full-time availability during the semester in Cincinnati, OH office.

Responsibilities

Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting for internal users and external investors.
Assist with NOI & Capital forecasting analysis; research variances to budget, prior reforecast and prior year.
Support the budget and forecast process; update the budget/forecast financial template.
Produce financial/operational KPI reports.
Load and tie out data between MRI and forecasting system (AE).
Perform peer/industry/market research as needed.
Prepare quarterly Board of Directors presentation.
