Job summary

Merus is seeking an Associate Asset Manager to assist Directors of Asset Management across portfolio and asset oversight. You will support transitions from development to asset management, draft agreements, and coordinate with property managers and stakeholders.

You will help create annual budgets, monitor performance, and prepare monthly reports for management and investors while ensuring accurate rent and CAM reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in real estate finance, asset management or related financial services.
• College degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or related field.
• Experience with investment analysis and financial modeling in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transitioning assets from development to asset management.
• Draft Asset Management and Subcontract Agreements for assets.
• Coordinate with third-party property managers and assist in budgeting and reporting.
