An established industry player is seeking dedicated individuals for a warehouse management role. This position involves managing the receipt and shipment of products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining inventory records. Job Duties
Performs various duties in a warehouse management system to receive and ship products and process customer returns. Responsible for routine and some non-routine warehouse tasks including receiving, shipping, and inventory management. Tasks are performed in a warehouse or production support environment. Ensures safe and legal handling of regulated materials for all inbound and outbound shipments, including proper separation, palletizing, loading, and storage. Identifies damages, reports shortages or quality deficiencies, and maintains records of shipped merchandise. Posts weights and shipping charges, and prepares materials for final shipment. May need to lift heavy items manually or with assistance. Most tasks are well-defined and require judgment or interpretation. Other duties may be assigned, including lower-grade tasks, but should not exceed current job grade.
High School Diploma/GED.
Clerical experience including typing and/or general office administration duties preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from ground to chest level, and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using equipment or assistance. Able to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver packages in various conditions, including enclosed spaces and above shoulder level. Able to work in all weather conditions, climb stairs and ladders if needed, and complete all required training. Effective communication in a noisy environment is necessary.
Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, required. Must work in a constant state of alertness, with extensive standing and walking.
Various shifts available: Mon - Fri/12:00 - 20:30, 10:30 - 19:00, 14:00 - 22:30, 16:00 - 00:30, 08:00 - 16:30; Sun - Thurs/04:00 - 08:00; Mon - Thurs/10:30 - 19:00; Mon - Fri/07:30 - 16:00.
