The core responsibilities for this role include: production, manufacturing, warehouse operations, general labor, line operation, order picking, quality control, material handling, fulfillment, inbound and outbound logistics, loading/unloading, shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory management.

Position: Material Handler

Shift: Second Shift, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am, Monday to Thursday. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Pay: $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• At least one year of experience in order fulfillment, including order picking and packing, with cross-training across multiple departments such as inbound, outbound, auto store, and both domestic and international shipping and receiving.
• Experience preparing products for shipment, verifying accuracy using computers, shipping labels, and packing lists.
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and RF scan gun safely, or willingness to be trained.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or SAP is highly desired.
• Ability to stand for up to 90% of the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely throughout the shift.

Role Purpose: To operate powered equipment for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products. To check inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and accuracy, ensuring they meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes, covering more than 20% of the shift.
• Put away and pick products for shipment or stock, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
• Verify outgoing shipments match customer orders in quantity, quality, labeling, and address.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources.
• Report discrepancies such as unavailable products or OS&D issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility and inspect equipment daily.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections.
• Assist with physical inventories.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.
