Overview
Role Description: CIB Operations – Internal Communications Senior Associate. We are seeking a strong communicator, writer and collaborator to join JPMorgan Chase's Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB) communications team supporting the Digital & Platform Services (DPS) organization. DPS accelerates transformation within CIB by uniting Technology, Operations, Digital Innovation, AI, and Data teams to create future-ready products and platforms.
As an Internal Communications Senior Associate, you will support CIB's Operations, providing strategic guidance on communications plans and execution, executive storytelling and narrative development, employee engagement and recognition, and support for key initiatives. You will be involved in the execution and measurement of all channels and tactics, including in-person town halls, site visits, and offsites, as well as multichannel content in newsletters, email and digital media.
Responsibilities
- Executive messaging, including talking points, briefs, organizational announcements, change management updates, and business strategy & performance updates.
- Editorials development: source, write and publish stories highlighting business achievements and recognizing the people behind them.
- Plan and execute executive employee engagement events including site visits, offsites, all‑hands calls, town halls, roundtables and fireside chats.
- Tell and amplify Operations stories via diverse channels (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, corporate intranet, video and live events) and coordinate with Press and Marketing for external stakeholders.
- Develop first drafts, edit, secure approvals, and disseminate a variety of communications materials for appropriate channels (executive messages, organization announcements, event invitations, newsletters, articles/stories, videos, digital signage, etc.).
- Lead logistics support and assist with decks, talking points, briefings and other materials for internal events (town halls, All‑Hands, site visits, panels/discussions, etc.).
- Support intranet management; oversee look, feel and navigation, and advise on content strategy.
- Measure performance of internal tactics (open rates, event survey results, article clicks) to guide strategy and approach.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in corporate or internal communications, with a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, communications, journalism, or related fields.
- Strategic communications: Ability to develop and implement cohesive and effective communication strategies; excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Storytelling: Passion for storytelling, simplifying complex topics, and driving narratives that support business goals.
- Creativity: Desire to bring creativity and new ideas to communications projects and tactics.
- Project management: Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple high‑priority initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy and quality in all communications.
- Problem solving: Analytical and strategic mindset for addressing challenges and finding solutions.
- Adaptability: Internally motivated, collaborative, and flexible in taking on new opportunities and challenges.
- Relationship building: Strong judgment and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with executives, peers and cross‑functional teams.
- Industry knowledge: Understanding of the financial services industry is a plus.

Base Pay/Salary: New York, NY $93,100.00 - $145,000.00 / year
