Santander Consumer USA Inc. seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to provide confidential and high‑level calendar management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements for multiple directors and their teams.

You will demonstrate superb interpersonal and written communication skills, interact with senior management and external clients, and handle sensitive information with discretion while using Excel, Word and PowerPoint, along with Teams, Concur T&E, and Workday as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years of administrative support experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in a corporate environment and interacting with senior management.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and priority-setting abilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential calendar management and scheduling for multiple directors.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including tickets and expense settlements.
  • Book meeting rooms and coordinate logistics for meetings and events.
  • Support office functions and project work across teams as needed.
  • Interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external clients.

The Difference You Make:

The CIB, Executive Assistant performs secretarial and administrative assignments of a confidential nature including, but not limited to, calendar management; scheduling meetings; booking meeting rooms; coordinating travel arrangements including booking travel tickets and settlement of related expenses. S/he also conducts administrative and office related project functions for multiple directors/managers and their teams.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business Administration or equivalent field. - Required.
  • 3+ Years Administrative support experience. - Required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Ability to recognize sensitive material and maintain the utmost discretion and diplomacy with a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Polished executive assistant with professional maturity and previous corporate environment experience.
  • Ability to effectively interact with senior level management both internally and with external clients.
  • Ability to manage top level managers supported with tact, diplomacy and assertiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to establish priorities, multi-task, meet deadlines, strong organizational, time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, react and think quickly.
  • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and involvement.
  • Ability to seek clarification or assistance when needed.
  • Thorough knowledge of a variety of software programs (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated calendar management and scheduling.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan and develop multiple projects within time constraints to meet deadlines while staying within budget/guidelines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skills. Approaching tasks from a positive perspective and with openness to change.
  • Ability to apply independent judgment when resolving routine enquiries.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills. Ability to recognize sensitive material and maintain the utmost discretion and diplomacy with a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Requires professional demeanor at all times and must be flexible in a fast changing environment.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum: $61,875.00 USD

Maximum: $105,000.00 USD
