AMERICAN FUJI SEAL in Newton, NC is seeking a General Labor associate for the 3rd shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 12AM–8AM). You will assist in operating printing equipment, ensure labels meet quality standards, and maintain equipment for optimal condition.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to PPO rules, and day-to-day troubleshooting to keep production flowing. Requires a high school diploma and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly

General Responsibilities

Assist in operating the printing equipment and related auxiliary tools. Print labels that match or exceed the quality expected by the customer. Must maintain and oversee equipment to ensure that they are well maintained and in good operating conditions. This position will be heavily involved in troubleshooting day-to-day issues related to printing. Primary focus is rolls on and rolls off, but not limited to this.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct daily safety inspection of work area and addresses noted issues
• Operate the press in a safe manner following safety and PPO rules.
• Analyze and follow the press schedule, must plan what is needed for completion of a work order.
• Must utilize all auxiliary tools installed at the press for process control and traceability.
• Communicate and share information about experiences and troubleshooting.
• Perform corrective actions in a timely manner, any non-conform product must be identified and segregated.
• Proactive assistance to improve process, methods, equipment, and materials.
• Permanent control of the printing process.
• Responsible for quality and productivity.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of plastic films.
• Basic knowledge of solvent base and water base inks.
