Job summary

SunOpta, Inc. in Midlothian, TX seeks a seasoned Continuous Improvement leader to drive a comprehensive CI strategy across facilities. You will partner with senior leadership to identify high-impact projects that reduce costs, improve quality, and elevate performance while mentoring the CI team.

The role requires Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, 10+ years in CI leadership, and strong data-driven communication skills. This on-site position involves travel to SunOpta locations as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
10+ years in CI/continuous improvement leadership.
Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong verbal, written and public-speaking skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive Continuous Improvement strategy with facility leadership.
Advise senior leadership with data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
Set KPIs, track progress, and demonstrate value of CI initiatives.
Lead and develop the CI team and allocate resources for impact.
Coordinate cross-functional CI projects and manage timelines and risks.
Train and mentor employees in problem-solving methods and root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with CI managers across locations to standardize tools and practices.
