Solugenix is seeking an experienced CI/CD Engineer for a full-time, Onsite position based in Irvine, CA.

We are seeking a Build & Release Engineer with hands‑on experience in managing build systems and orchestrating software releases across multiple environments. You will be responsible for maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Jenkins, and version control tools like Git and Bitbucket, ensuring stable, reliable, and repeatable build and release processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience in build engineering and release management roles.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar.
• Proficiency in version control systems: Git, Bitbucket, or SVN.
• Scripting experience with Shell, Python, or Groovy for automation tasks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and Jenkins.
• Manage and optimize build processes for a range of software applications and services.
• Coordinate release activities across dev, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (development, QA, product management) to align on release timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure accurate and timely deployment of code, patches, and configuration changes.
• Administer source control systems (Git, Bitbucket, or SVN), including branching strategies, tagging, and merge processes.
• Document build and release processes, tools, and configurations for ongoing support and training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build, merge, and deployment issues promptly.
• Implement best practices in software versioning, build artifact management, and release automation.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $65/hour to $72/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
