Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in design and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using tools/technologies across multiple areas, including:
- Project Management – JIRA, IBM RTC, Rally, Team Forge
- Code Management – SVN, GIT, CVS, Stash, ClearCase
- Build – Maven, Nexus, Ant, Makefile
- Code Quality – SonarQube, Crucible, JUnit, PMD, Checkstyle
- Continuous Integration – Jenkins, CruiseControl, Bamboo
- Continuous Deployment – uDeploy, Liquibase, Chef, Puppet, Automic ARA, CA Release Automation
- Automated Testing – HP QTP, Selenium, JMeter, SOAPUI
- Operating Systems – Unix OS, Linux OS, Windows
- Scripting – Shell scripting, PowerShell, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python
- Predictive Monitoring – Splunk, Nagios
- End-to-end deployment on Webservers and Appservers (Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Jetty, Geronimo)
- At least 2 years of experience in Architecture, Design, Development and Implementation of CI/CD, Release Management, DevOps, Agile Project Tracking tools, Source Code Management, Test Management, Configuration Management, Build, Deployment and Test Automation Tools.
- At least 1 year of experience performing AS-IS analysis of SDLC processes, identifying gaps, estimating and defining a roadmap to implement a DevOps solution.
- At least 4 years of experience in software project lifecycle activities on development and maintenance projects using Java/J2EE technologies.
- At least 1 year of experience in design and architecture reviews.
- Experience in writing scripts to build and deploy to server-side environments and to automate logging of builds.
- Experience in managing release processes, application health checks, and production metrics tracking.
- Ability to drive an independent project/module from an execution standpoint.
- Experience in migration of SDLC tools from current to futuristic tool stacks.
- Ability to work in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment and to partner with global delivery teams.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical and client interfacing skills; ability to work in a global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
