Job description

Solugenix is looking for a Director, ECMS. This is a direct hire opportunity based out of New York, NY (Hybrid).

The Director, Enterprise Content Management Systems, plays a crucial role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our document management and content collaboration platforms. This role ensures that our platforms not only support business objectives and compliance but also enhance user experience across the enterprise.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT Enterprise Systems, including senior leadership responsibility for highly available, business-critical platforms.
  • 5+ years of direct people leadership experience, including team development, performance management, and operational accountability (required).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in enterprise content management or document management systems, with responsibility for strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization.
  • 5+ years of experience managing intranet platforms, preferably hosted on MS SharePoint.
  • Legal or professional services industry experience is a must.
  • Deep experience managing a legal document management system, preferably iManage.
  • Experience implementing and managing MS Teams Workspaces using the Intapp Workspaces product.
  • Demonstrated expertise leading and governing enterprise legal document management platforms in complex, highly regulated environments.
  • Extensive experience directing the management and evolution of enterprise intranet platforms, preferably hosted on MS SharePoint, including usability, governance, and lifecycle planning.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy and operational excellence of the firm’s enterprise content management platforms, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable document and collaboration services that align with firm-wide business objectives.
  • Enforce governance across all systems in line with the firm’s established information security, risk and compliance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of ECM platforms by evaluating system performance, user adoption, and emerging business needs.
  • Serve as the senior liaison and escalation point for ECM platform vendors and key internal stakeholders, ensuring strong partnerships, contract effectiveness, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise content management and collaboration platforms; translate insights into actionable recommendations and long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Define and execute ECM strategy and investment priorities, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT strategy, information governance policies, and evolving business requirements.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and accountability for the ECM team, including workforce planning, performance management, and professional development. Ensure the team is operating at a high level, responsive to the business, and effective in the delivery and support of all technologies and platforms owned.
  • Oversee support and operational reliability of core ECM systems, including iManage DMS, MS Teams Workspaces, MS SharePoint, and client collaboration platforms, ensuring high availability and business continuity.
  • Provide architectural and technical oversight for complex ECM solutions, including advanced MS SharePoint development and integrations, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $205,000 to $260,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
