Job summary

aKUBE Inc is seeking a Chyron PRIME Broadcast Graphics Designer for a 4-month contract. You will build, integrate and maintain live, data-driven on-air graphics for news, sports, weather and other live programming. Location: Remote or onsite in Tampa, FL. Reel required to be considered.

Responsibilities include refining graphics in After Effects and collaborating with Art Directors, producers and technical teams, ensuring visual standards and copyright compliance for AI-assisted assets.

Qualifications

• Reel required showing Chyron PRIME and live broadcast work.
• Experience building data-driven on-air graphics for news/sports/weather.
• Ability to troubleshoot graphics and data integration during live production.

aKUBE Inc is hiring a Chyron PRIME Broadcast Graphics Designer for a 4-month contract with a major broadcast network. You'll build, integrate and maintain live, data-driven on-air graphics for news, sports, weather and other live programming.

REEL REQUIRED: Applications without a reel or portfolio showing Chyron PRIME and live broadcast graphics work will not be considered. Be ready to explain your specific contribution to each piece.

Location: Remote or onsite in Tampa, FL

Duration: 4 months

Rate: Up to $42.30/hour in W-2 (depends on experience)

Work authorization: U.S. citizens, Green Card holders and valid EAD holders only. No H-1B, OPT, CPT or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• Build, integrate and maintain dynamic live graphics and data-driven templates in Chyron PRIME
• Develop production-ready graphics for news, sports, weather and other live programming
• Work with Chyron Newsticker and TriCaster in live broadcast environments
• Integrate creative assets into live playout workflows
• Refine graphics in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Use generative AI tools (Runway, Gemini or similar) for concept development and workflow efficiency
• Collaborate with Art Directors, producers and technical teams on on-air graphics
• Troubleshoot graphics, data integration and technical issues during live production
• Maintain visual and technical standards across broadcast and streaming, including copyright compliance for AI-assisted assets
• Manage multiple concurrent projects under live-production deadlines
