Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo is seeking an experienced Family Facilities & Maintenance Manager to care for churches, rectories, schools, and properties across the diocese. Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance for multiple facilities.
• Supervise maintenance, custodial, and grounds staff.
• Coordinate repairs, contractors, vendors, and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain buildings, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, security, and safety systems.
• Oversee landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, snow removal, and grounds care.
• Ensure churches and facilities are clean, safe, welcoming for worship, school activities, weddings, funerals and events.
• Develop maintenance schedules, manage work orders and records, and oversee the facilities budget.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety, building, and fire regulations.
