Job summary

Singing River Health System seeks a Chief Human Resources Officer to lead a comprehensive personnel program, including recruitment, screening and evaluation to meet patient care standards and accrediting requirements.

The CHRO will partner with the CEO and Administrative Leadership Team, overseeing employee relations, policy evolution, and development of competitive talent strategies for the SRHS community. Strong strategic, de-escalation and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in HR, business admin, healthcare admin, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR management experience; at least 5 years in upper management.
• Must complete de-escalation training within 90 days of orientation.
• Certification or license requirements: N/A

Responsibilities

• Assist administration and line supervision on employee relations and policy evolution.
• Cultivate sources of qualified candidates; recruit and hire staff.
• Lead HR staff and participate in strategic direction with the Administrative Leadership Team.
• Ensure professional, impartial handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
