Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to partner with the CEO and senior leaders to build an inclusive, high-performing culture.

The CHRO will lead talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance while scaling the organization. A strong focus on employee-owned culture and strategic HR initiatives will drive engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 15 years HR leadership experience in a professional services or engineering context.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
• Experience leading change management initiatives and strategic HR programs.
• Outgoing, energetic, organized, and assertive with strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster a values-driven, high-performing culture and advise the executive team on HR strategies.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes and optimize the applicant tracking system.
• Drive change management, policy adoption, and compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Partner with leadership to advance diversity, inclusion, and employee development initiatives.
• Develop compensation, benefits and performance management programs aligned with the firm.
• Nurture employee relations and champion the employee-owned culture.
