Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. seeks a Chief Human Resources Officer to partner with the CEO and senior leaders, championing an employee-owned culture and driving talent strategy across the firm.

The CHRO will build the HR team, scale processes, and lead talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance, and retention programs. The role emphasizes change management, compensation and benefits oversight, policy governance, and ensuring legal compliance while advancing McKim & Creed's five core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 15+ years HR leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in an engineering or surveying environment is a plus.
• Certifications in HR are a plus (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the HR function in line with the 2030 Strategic Plan.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance and retention.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, compliance and offboarding processes.
• Drive diversity, inclusion and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support change management and roll out policies across the firm.
• Advise executive leadership on people strategies and metrics.
