Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a part-time Seasonal Christmas Driver in Howell, MI. The role involves delivering and picking up bell ringers and kettles along an assigned route, and supporting other seasonal driving tasks as needed.

You will maintain the vehicle, keep logs of maintenance and mileage, and report issues to your supervisor. A valid driver’s license with chauffeur endorsement and Safe From Harm training are required, and applicants must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent training/experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• At least 18 years old.
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check.
• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route.
• Maintain vehicle(s), ensuring it is cleaned and prepared for next use.
• Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs; report safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle.
• Communicate any problems to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• At least 18 years old
